May I take this opportunity to thank everyone for not moaning at me for having fat fingers!! I have only just noticed I have been numbering my WOYWW posts incorrectly . . . . . .all good now!
I have been extra busy this week but the last two days have been spent trying to get my printer and my laptop to be friends!

This icon means that the laptop and printer (scanner) are friends . . . .
Now life can return to 'normal'.
I am off to the woods today . . . . . family picnic . . . . and getting lost . . . . but we have the whole day and NO RAIN is forecast . . . . . taking wellies anyhow as I remember there used to be boggy bits in there . . . . .

ReplyDeleteGlad you got the two machines to talk to one another, nothing worse than machinery not working as you want it to. I would be lost - it's something I need to come to terms with as `i hsae let everything be done by a man instead of by me for the past 30 years. I used to be so independent!

ReplyDeleteI think techy things are quite shy and don't make friends easily, even if they are formally introduced. They only develop a bond when they get to know each other really well! I simply love the quote on your computer screen - with your permission I shall borrow that one! Absolutely first class, and I couldn't agree more!!!

WEll, sometimes when you link in, someones done the same at the same time, so you see one number,but then, coz the other person was a millionth of a second faster, they nick the number you thought was yours! Thats what happen to me a few weeks ago, I thought I was #10 but ended up at #15! Hope you had fun, Im House sitting two dogs at the moment! ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit, Christine, and for the info about the screen saver. I've made some digital art with it which I'll post on Wednesday, adding a Scripture at the bottom. I had a good oncology appointment and the news is good - no chemo required, but I have to expect some unpleaantness from the radiotherapy and hormone blocker (which I have now started taking). More news on Wednesday, and I've updated my Breast Cancer Diary page.
