short but sweet today because I have a lot to do . . . . .
The desk . . . . . .
must stop watching Strictly, I always feel like Claudia and Tess . . . . The Desk!
These bad babies are going to be diecut and USED! I know that I say this every year but this year the left overs are not going back in the pot . . . . . definitely!!
Some of these are so old . . . . on the back of one is a message from an auntie about moving into a new flat in 2013!!!!!!
So today is going to be very busy and hopefully the rest of the week will be taken up with sticking, writing and posting . . . .
I saw this gorgeous design on the web . . . . . doncha just love it!
Thank you Julia for hosting again, you do a grand job.
Did you notice that I didn't mention it is the 1st Day of December . . . . .
good luck with the die cutting! I do love the quote. Have a good day Happy WOYWW Helen #2
ReplyDeleteI absolutely adore that Choose Happy in the last pic, really love it. Well done for being determined to shift those bits and pieces, if you don’t use them, recycle them and enjoy the space that gives you. I’m thoroughly enjoying Strictly and want either Rose or John to win, I love them both!

Love all those Christmas designs and what a great idea to die cut them! Are they old Christmas cards or just toppers? Happy December! xx zsuzsa #18
ReplyDeleteI always save the pretties cards and use them for tags the next year. Also wrapping paper and ribbons. I swear I have paper that I have used for 10 years (my MIL and her sister wrap the most amazing packages and I hoard that stuff like it was gold dust!) and everyone knows to open gifts c a r e f u l l y!! I am not super frugal but I cannot bear to give some of the hand printed papers from Aunty Barb go in the bin. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteHappy December & Happy WOYWW!

That lot are certainly going to keep you busy - it's a great idea to die-cut them and get them used. The card is fabulous and reminds me of the Mandala type designs in colouring books.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a good week,

ReplyDeleteooh that is so smart, I have saved so many over the years. ( not everything ) but, all the handmade ones and some of the prettiest store bought ones. :) hopefully you get everything taken care of. ~Stacy #23
ReplyDeleteOH! I wish I was as productive as you are ;) That looks like a lot of work? Love the quote and the beautiful colours on it.

I did. Honestly The !st of December... its already the 2nd! I usually save all my old Chrimble cards because...I am soooo bad at remembering peoples names! (this is neighbours...not family, I'm not that bad!) So, I can get the cards out...see the names...and there pets if added.. and away I go. I did once address the cat first and then the people, but I don't think they noticed! Have a great Crafty Week. stay safe. Happy very Late WOYWW!?((Lyn))#25
ReplyDeleteWow, Christine, even I don’t hold onto cards that long! Went to a festival of 100 trees at a little city centre church in Salisbury yesterday, and one of the trees was decorated with die cut circles from old Christmas cards. Quite random, some with whole images, most with just colour and a bit of script, they were definitely cut to get the most from each card face rather than to make individual pics. It looked fab, loads of gold and glittery bits randomly sparkling. So I say do it, and I’m pretty sure you’ll get immense satisfaction!!
