WOYWW #653

WOYWW?  What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday of course!  The day I go travelling round as many desks as I can to see what other folks have been up to and, of course, my Thanks go to Julia at Stamping Ground for enabling so many desks and lifestyles to be shared each week.  Thank you.

Another short post.  It's cold and wet and I'm miserable so I just want to go virtual visiting . . .

The Desk. . .

The cards are nearly complete and I hope to be able to write them ready to post out next week . . ..  something of a tradition is posting the Christmas Cards on my birthday . . . . Peter could never do that as his birthday was in July!!  lol  😂

I have invested in a new paper cutter this week although it has really been to use for scoring.  I have several scoreboards but oh!  I can never score properly.

I thought this screen wallpaper very appropriate at the moment as we are now into our third day of rain. . . . .

Here I come a visiting . . . .

PS  don't you just love the font size?  on my writing screen it is the largest and really BIG .  Must shrink with the publishing!!!

  1. It's cold and blustery wet and miserable here Christine so I am with you.
I can understand the need for that cutter for scoring - I seem to go offline now and then when using my MS scoring board - glad I am not the only one finding it unsuitable. Interesting to know how you find this method.

  3. I loved your screen wallpaper, made me laugh out loud! It’s a bit like my Rugby Prop forward elbows when I have to go shopping *grin* needs must at times. Isn’t it miserable? It’s been incredibly windy here though I think Ireland and the very west of Wales bore the brunt. We always put the tree up on Gordon’s birthday (tomorrow) but did it a bit earlier this year as we wanted to see our lovely decorations cheering the place up.

  4. I think I have just about made all my cards now too - just the big job of writing and the arm and a leg job of stamp purchasing! Wild, wet and windy here again today but I have kept cosy with a coffee and catch up with Annie. xx Jo

  8. Funny, I gave up on my trimmer not that long ago and bought the TH guillotines and have been getting good cuts ever since. It only took me 20 years to make the switch LOL! Happy Birthday in advance and good luck with your card deadline :)
    Late again, but Happy WOYWW!

  9. Oh the weather is horrid isn’t it, I can cope with most, but the constant grey is awful. Still, it may mean that we’re due some bright and crispy days. And then I’ll moan because it’ll show how much the windows need cleaning! Well done on getting the cards finished, love that you can make a thing of posting them on your birthday…..many happy returns!
