I have finished my small artworks and am attaching small jewels. I have attached them as centres to my flowers and now want some small pearls for my mermaids and then poof! off they go in the post . . . . not really. They will probably have to wait until Sunday when I may have a visitor. No worries, I have until the end of the month.
I have so much going on at the moment that I am really enjoying this crafting time. . . . although I have washed all the baby clothes ready to gather and label, I'll show them another time, which means I am starting on new ones for the next collection which is always exciting . . .
After much checking of links given by Surgery and getting pretty irate (after a month) I phoned and was told "oooh! an appointment has just come up", I took it as I missed out on the Spring booster . . . no appointments available and when I found a walk in . . . they were not giving them out any more and I would have to wait until the Autumn . . . . our caring NHS
One sore arm and 24hours of feeling out of sorts, I am back to nearly normal and able to be crafting etc. so I shall start this month's cards later.
My screen . . .
perfect security!
ReplyDeleteHope the arm does not cause too much of a problem. Still it should mean you are safe from the dreaded covid,
Lots of lovely art on your desk, shows how busy you have been. Pearls and mermaids sound a perfect combination to me.
Have a great week, hugs, Neet 4 xx
Funny enough my streets like that!! (Not me I'm oblivious to everything but it always stuns me how much my neighbours know about what I'm doing...... so better behave I suppose!!) The mermaids are super cute, hope you continue to find some crafting time. Happy WOYWW, have a good week, love n hugs Cindy xx #6
ReplyDeleteGreat security. I hope your arm feels better quickly. It’s certainly worth the pain. Your mini artworks look lovely and I hope you get chance to photograph them in their flowers.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about the guitar - that’s so frustrating.
Take care and happy WOYWW

Oh that made me laugh out loud! Didn’t we all have aunties or neighbours like that?! I have a sneaking suspicion that I may be old enough to join their ranks now, lol!! I’m so pleased you’ve been enjoying your crafting, your little mermaids will look fab with a pearly necklace.

Loving the small artwork, maybe we can see them again with the flowers added. The ladies could have been on the street where one of my grandmothers lived, it was an old mining village with lots of old terrace houses and the wives never went out to work as they were far too busy looking after the house and family and when they weren't doing that they were checking what the rest of the street were up to....those were the days! Wishing you a very happy and creative woyww, Angela x9x
ReplyDeleteI'm chasing my tail again this week...and my workload just increased considerably...so I'm taking a well earned break.
ReplyDeleteReally love the old photo....I'm sure they are still around :-) Hope your arm is much better very soon.
Hugs,

Pearls and mermaid - a perfect combination. Hope you arm isn’t too sore, it’s good to have the protection though. Happy WOYWW. Angela #10
ReplyDeleteWell it was sunny first thing but went downhill rapidly here :(.
ReplyDeleteLove the book of Daniel too, so much more in it than the usual well known stories, Lion's Den etc. I did a Beth Moore study some years ago now but it stays with me. Loving your pieces of artwork, circles are so unusual and adorable. BJ#16
Glad you managed to get your booster sortedn and that the arm is returning to normal Chritine. Loving the ATCoins. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #2
ReplyDeletewell done on the booster - I must book mine! Glad that you are enjoying your crafty time too As BJ says, it started sunny here ..... got wet on the way home! Have a good week Helen #1
ReplyDeleteYay for boosters, but not the palava to get them! I need to book me and Dear Son in for ones. I think. I did have one just the end of October and they already told me I am eligible for another one. I begin to wonder if they really know when you get one! Ah well.Love the coins, they are lovely little works of art. Hope your arm recovers so you can craft on. LOVe the Security Cameras! Hysterical.
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW, late in the day!

We had ours in October a week apart, but hubby and I were both nauseas for about 2 weeks after the flu one. I've not had a reaction before! Apart from the sore arm, that is. As for the NHS, they want 17% pay rise! I have inside knowledge of the workings as I worked in different departments in a large hospital. I can tell you that most of what went on wouldn't happen in Private Industry. Sorry, I'm getting political. Love the Neighbourhood Watch Ladies, definitely security cameras. Thanks for the laugh.
ReplyDeleteYep, the best type of security. Must admit our experience of the autumn booster was a lot easier, mid September I booked (as I am classed as vulnerable) and on the day got a phone call as they had a load of "no shows" so could we come in earlier! Had that in one arm and the flue in the other, bit sore but not as bad as what it could be. Hope yours is better now.
ReplyDeleteGlad you got your booster Christine 🤗 hope your arms feeling much better 💕 I have mine to come on the 30th. Loving a keek at your desk treasures they are ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you so much for stopping by mine, sending love and gentle hugs Tracy #14 xxx P.S Seeee you tomorrow! Xxxx
