WOYWW #715

WOYWW - All the deets on how to link up etc. and, more importantly, why you should, can be found at the top of the page.  Thank you Julia for reminding what day of the week it is!

I hope you are sitting down . . . .  I have stash!!

My desk . .  all laid out to tell the tale . . .

I went to a craft show near Birmingham Airport last weekend . . . . just for some Oriental stamps, dies and embossing folders. . . . .

Between DDN and myself we managed to find a few reasonably priced ones . . . .

  . . . . then in a sale basket I found these . . .

In a different time zone, DDN off loaded her craft stash unto me . . . which included some Flowersoft stash . . .I have a bit more now!!

Then there were these . . .
large and small A6 size envelopes!  Pearlised paper at that . . . .

Altogether a good day . . .  maybe not a lot of stash but enough travelling for me in one day!

Anyhow, my local Japanese shop, https://www.japancrafts.co.uk/#/, sent me an email about her latest finds . . . . . I'm saving money in the long run . . . .

The screen reminds me that the Commonwealth Games bull is going to have a new home . . . . .
In Grand Central at New Street Station . . . . there won't be any of this though! . . . .
I'm just relieved that he hasn't been sold for scrap (he's polystyrene really) as he is a great work of art and us Brummies love him!

  1. I can understand you loving the Bull, he is gorgeous and am with you on the happy front that he is saved for another day - and hopefully many of them.
A tip for the Brushos - you know how you get in a mess with it staining your hands - well Arm & Hammer toothpaste is brilliant at taking it off, just use a little and rub into your hands, it also leaves them feeling nice and soft.

I'm afraid I am not doing very well at not buying any new stuff!! I blame Christmas, too many vouchers needing to be spent!! Have a good week, love n hugs Cindy xx
P.S. Yes am taking care of myself especially as I've now tested positive for Covid. Bummer, second time in 6 months!!

  12. A great location for the Bull, now even people just passing through will see him. It’s so clever that he’s not mae of metal! Like your new stash, can’t not love a bargain huh! Have fun with it all!

  13. I love those stamps, especially that 'leaf' (what is its name again? ) and that bull is something... but I especially smiled when I read that Japancraft has new finds... I will hop over to see. It is difficult these days to order from the UK to the Netherlands but when she offers wonderful fabrics, I might try... Thanks for your visit to my blog yesterday, have a great week! 14. What a magnificent bull! It would truly have been awful if he had just been trashed. Great haul, I haven't been to a craft show in probably 20 years! Have a great week, Lindart #19

  15. Good morning, Christine. That bull is an amazing piece of art. So beautiful. Thanks for sharing him. Finds are always good. Our first stamp show won't be for 3-4 months yet and is 4 hours away. I have to contend myself with shopping with Spectrum Art Creations on their Live Saturday sales and playing their games. LOL or my local craft box store. Creative Blessings! ~Kelly #17
