Where have I been? I hear you asking . . .
I have just spent the last 45mins trying to get the brushes on my old vacuum cleaner working!! Remind me not to vacuum the floor in my craft studio . . .
The desk
I am upcycling some stash.I found these small photos in my 'paper' box which I am slowly working through . . . Christmas stash at the back. . . the cause of this box!!
. . . is how I feel this week after my weekend retail therapy, my Japan Craft sale and some other stash due to arrive soon!
Also in view, top right, are this month's swap cards received earlier today.
It is very grey and overcast today but I am happy to report that there is also intermittent fine rain showers. The rain makes me happy as the garden is in dire need. I found a pot with some primroses shooting so I brought them out onto the plant theatre . . . . Mother Nature watering them for me!

Have a happy WOYWW
LOL! Love your notice to the kids. You need to add that they will inherit all the stash to sort thru as well! Liking your cards, very pretty, and yeah, not fun hoovering my craft room. There is often a horrible noise coming from lord only knows what getting sucked up into the brushes! Yikes!
ReplyDeleteHappy on-time WOYWW!

Lovely cards, I can never resist a bright pop of red. The hoovering is always risky in a craft room - I particularly hate the rattle that indicates something, possibly lovely and lost for a while, has gone up the spout!
ReplyDeleteI'm enjoying the showers today too - lovely to see the garden getting what it so badly needs.
Hope you have good week,

That’s the best reason not to hoover in my opinion!! Something always goes up the tube that entails taking everything apart, lol! That’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it *grin*. Love the bright pops of red on your desk today, you’ll have to show us your Japan craft stash when it arrives, I do love a bit of oriental design!

ooh loving that last will statement, genius! I know what you mean about vacuuming the craft room floor, must admit I tend to use my croc shoe to drag over the carpet as this pulls a lot of the hair (I have long hair that falls out a lot) and paper scraps into a ball then I vacuum, BUT tbh, its not often ;-)
ReplyDeletethanks for visiting my desk already, yours looks very creative again

I'm smiling wide here at your last will and testament, that made me laugh and was needed today, thank yooou ๐tooo your gorgeous cards, love them I do ๐❤️๐๐๐⭐️ Ohhhh hoovering craft spaces ... I have to have a good look round first on the floor for big bits ๐ I've learnt my hoover will go on strike otherwise ๐คช Sending you much love and hugs Tracy #21 xxx
ReplyDeleteLoved your notice to the children so much I have just sent it to mine ๐คฃ๐คฃ. Pretty cards. Hope the hoover is working still Happy WOYWW. Angela #18
ReplyDeleteAh those roses look familiar, I ought to upcycle mine too. Love the screen quote, sort of wish I was hankering after something specifically but sadly no. Loving the rain for the garden too although we do have 3 water butts full from last month still. I topped up the pond only yesterday as it was mighty low. Hugs BJ#12
ReplyDeleteI let hubby vav my sewing room once and he managed to suck up almost an entire reel of thread and wrap it round the brushes! Our primroses are in bloom so it must have been a mild winter. Chilly here this evening. X x Jo
ReplyDeleteI knew hoovering was bad!! great notice to the children, enjoy it while you can, i say! Happy WOYWW Helen #2
ReplyDeleteHi Christine, I'm back. I regularly have to clean the brushers on our vacuum cleaner, it's a pain! Wishing you a lovely woyww creative week. Hugs, Angela x9x
ReplyDeleteOoh! Looking forward to seeing this new stash, hope you show it to us another week. I always used to say I was going on a skiing holiday - spend kids inheritance. I think your little saying is better as I reckon there is more money in myk craft room than in my bank account.
ReplyDeleteLove your card making.
