WOYWW #718

WOYWW - All the deets on how to link up etc. and, more importantly, why you should, can be found at the top of the page.  Thank you Julia for hosting another week of fun and mayhem.

My desk

coming today from among the snow flakes . . . .  real ones!!!

I know many have it much worse than here . . .

I am creating some spring inspired ATCs and always seem to be able to use these stamps.  They were wood blocked ones but now are loose in a DVD folder.  I just love them so much, a straight forward portrayal of Spring flowers . . . .

There's not much else going on as I am having an R&R day after a quick visit to my new hospital with a good outcome so  . . .   onto cutting out my lovely spring flowers.  . . .  and a bit of pasting and sticking . . .

The screen this week says it all . . . . for everyone here  . . . . .

  1. Thankful that you had a good outcome from your visit to the hospital - you deserve the R&R now.
You cannot go wrong with flowers when making anything and your ATC's are promising to be beautiful.
I am now getting worried that everyone is reporting snow in some form but there is no sign of it here. I just hope ours does not come towards the weekend and stop my getting out.
Take care - Hugs, Neet 7 xx

  2. I’m so pleased to hear that you had a good outcome from the hospital yesterday, hooray! Enjoy the R&R today xx. I really like those flowers, as you say, simple but effective - why should everything be overly complicated? I think the ATCs will be lovely with those beauties on the front!
Thanks for the wrist/hand warmer patterns, I do have a pair of compression gloves but can’t wear them when knitting or crochet, the yarn doesn’t slip through right!

  3. Glad you had a good outcome at the hospital, and nothing better than an R&R day after a stressful event. I love the floral stamps, they look like real go-to stamps for so many occasions - your ATC's will not only look gorgeous but also brighten up the day.
Hope you have a good week,

  4. Good news for you! Enjoy your guilt-free R&R then. We too had snow, way down in Dorset. I am wishing it away already. Pretty stamps. If only Spring would SPRING!
    Happy WOYWW, on the day!

  12. I'm sorry you needed a hospital visit, Christine, but glad it went well and you got some rest. Your spring flower ATC makes are beautiful. I've heard about the snow in the UK ... just crazy weather everywhere. Spring will come soon, I'm sure. No, I'm not sure. That was a lie. But they say if you put it out in the universe it will happen, so that's a good lie then, surely! Take care and stay warm! Hugs, Darnell
