Saw this technique on the web, I do try to make a note of where I find 'things' but . . . How to recycle some plastic film, will have to try out other packaging as well . . . .
but the film is bunched up and used as a stamp . . . .
. . . lightly 'stamp' all over the paper with different inks . . .
I have tried to stamp different colourways in strips so that I can use them as backgrounds for my ATCs . . . ,,
Looks like I may have six backgrounds there, now to use them up. As is, stamped, embossed . . . the possibilities are endless!!
Exciting times for me . . . . . I'm very sad . . . .
Now for something that is so . . . .aaaaaah!
Just look at that face!
Oooh! yes! love that screen . . .
Glad you’re having fun with recycling! Lovely ink patterns That cat is just gorgeous!

Yes, the cat pose says it all, warms the soul just looking at it. Thanks Christine.
ReplyDeleteLove the technique, how simple and yet how effective. I always remember being told years ago that I must not lose sight of the fact that a "background is just that - a back ground". It's so easy to get carried away and make it so elaborate that you lose sight of the main image. This is perfect. Enjoy your creating

ReplyDeleteI think the scrunched up film makes a great stamp to apply colour to your page - enjoy! thanks for dropping by. Helen #1
ReplyDeleteI love the screen too, talk about content. Ah, if you’re enjoying the scrunched plastic, try bubble wrap and wrap some rubber bands around something and use them too, it’s a lot of fun for backgrounds. Also helps when your eye for colour makes a whole page look so lovely Christine! Let the fun continue!
