WOYWW #720

So it's been a very busy week round here what with Mother's Day etc.

Must show you these . . .

From a non-crafty daughter . . .

. . . . aren't they super!!

. . . and from a neighbour . . . .

But you're here to see my desk . . . . .

It's a bit boring as I am about to start on a new set of ATCs.  The theme is Sudoku

I managed to find a free newspaper when out and about last week!!  I brought one (or two)  home and there on the 'Puzzles' page was just what I needed.

This is as far as I have gone  . . . . cut them out.  I will admit that a previous attempt with spray paints did not inspire me . . . FYI newspaper is very absorbent . . . .!

So I shall spend the rest of the day watching/listening to the very strong wind outside and visiting desks, I may think of an idea on how to use these newspaper cutouts .   . .  in the meantime . . . have a good day.

My screen . . . .

  1. Well, your desk is a feast of flowers today, from your DD’s lovely ones to the neighbour’s narcissussusses (sorry, couldn’t stop there… lol) to the screensaver! Thank you for sharing them xx. Yay for finding free newspapers with Sudoku in, good luck in thinking up an idea for the ATCs!

  4. Fabulous flowers from your daughter and from your neighbour too. I look forward to seeing your Suduku ATC’s. I have often thought of using my Suduku books for collage, but that is as far as I have taken it! Happy WOYWW. Angela #8

  6. Loving those crafty flowers Christne. You could try adding the newspaper to the ATC, sealing with matte medium and drying before using Oxides over the top - spray or inks. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #2

  7. loving all the flowers! hope your sudoko themed atcs work well. Don't worry, I won't be throwing the circles away, they'll sit in a pile of other "stuff" that's going nowhere.... Happy WOYWW helen #1

  8. I love the everlasting flowers! They are so pretty and from a non crafter they say so much don’t they, about how you’ll appreciate them and her efforts become so much more special. Wonderful. Love the white daffodils too, and glad they are safe in your house, this current weather is not right for pretty flowers! Good luck with the sudoku ATCs, I would be stamping words in each box to counteract the numbers thing…because I can do words but numbers defeat me!! Have fun whatever you decide to do with them!
