WOYWW #732

WOYWW - This is the day deskers around the world meet up for a chat and show What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.  We help, inspire, sympathise and laugh out loud . . become very good friends.  The deets are at the top of the page . . . . all thanks to our lovely Head Desker Julia . .

Welcome to another hot sticky day . .  I'm not complaining publicly . . . mind you there's no-one here so I can moan as much as I like! ! !

The desk today is a very busy one, seems to be getting busier but only cause of me being worn out by the heat, even my coldest room was 24C yesterday!

The desk:

Such an array!  Now let's see . . .  a cup of Green Tea . .  chlorestrol   cholesterol is up so the Green Tea becomes my go to refreshing drink, hot or cold it tastes good.

Then there's instruction sheet and stamps/dies for my current card making.  Some happy post to be photographed etc. and the packaging for new ATCs and Coins . . .

Lots to do

I have already been out planting, I water at night so my pots have a good soaking.  I am slowly transferring the contents of said pots into my garden . . .  s l o w l y . . . I will be doing a post on that soon.

I have been asked if I am still cardmaking . . .  oh! yes!  too much stash to get rid of . . . .  I have been threatened with a skip!!!

So for today it will be virtual visiting and  . . .  lying down in the coolish room trying to breathe . . .

The screen

We're voting to give him a new name . .  . brummie, bostin, boulton and Ozzy are the names to choose from . . . .

  1. Yikes to the cholesterol. Hope you get it to settle down, although the guy I saw at the lipid clinic said diet doesn't help all that much. Green tea helps? I had no idea! It has been hot, but mercifully cool at night, at least here, so not as awful as last summer. That was hideous. I can live with hit during the day so long as it cools overnight. Lovin the steampunk bull. Ozzy must be your choice, as it's in red!
Happy still sunny WOYWW! Stay cool!

  2. I have shortened 5 dresses and 2 pair of trousers and my next customer has just been and has brought me 2 Memory bears to make [with a challenge!] but it's lunchtime here so taking a quick break to pop round a few blogs.
I couldn't do all I do without my fans so remember to pop yours on and keep cool my friend.
    Hugs,

  3. The heat is very exhausting. It saps all your energy. I am not a big fan of green tea, although I know there are health benefits. Keep cool. Happy WOYWW. Angela #11

  4. I'm with you, I don't like the heat. It's easy to get warm but not so easy to cool down and it's exhausting. Good to see a busy desk though. I might just have some green tea when I've done here. Sending woyww hugs, Angela x7x

  5. I am so sorry to read you are also having heat where you are. We in the states mostly have air conditioning, so I wouldn't make it if I didn't have it. I can take the cold, but not the heat.

I like those dies. I'm on a die and stencil kick right now! I drink coffee 24/7, and if it gets cold, I don't mind at all. I see a postage stamp from the states, so look forward to seeing what is inside the envie. Try to keep cool . Look forward to seeing your plants, too.

WoW to that steampunk bull! Happy WOYWW from # 2.

  9. Good morning, Christine.
I'm an evening gardener, too. I probably should finish up a bed tonight as I have 2 tomato plants waiting for their pots to be put into position. No ground growing here. Way too rocky! Seems the heat has arrived for everyone all at once. Stay cool! Creative Blessings! ~Kelly #15

  10. I'm glad I don't have cholesterol problems, because I do not like green tea! Nighttime watering is a good idea, especially when it's hot. Our temperatures here in Ontario are still quite cool, 12° C at night, and between 16° and 20°C during the day. Our time will come, though, I'm sure, in July. Stay cool, Lindart #17
