WOYWW #734

WOYWW - This is the day deskers around the world meet up for a chat and show What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.  We help, inspire, sympathise and laugh out loud . . become very good friends.  The deets are at the top of the page . . . . all thanks to our lovely Head Desker Julia . .

Nearly July and so . . . . .

My Desk

Covered in butterfly stamps and dies. . . .  with a cup of coffee all ready.

I am sorting out the stamps . . . . .

. . . . the dies . . . .

 . . . and the box. . . .

why? you ask . .

July was Peter's Birthday month and this year I am going to celebrate in style!

Peter had this idea to make an album of watercolour butterflies, natural and fantasy.  He didn't achieve this but did leave a wonderful box of stamps and dies to which I have added my stamps and dies (not many as I could always use his!) and I am now sorting through them in the hope of making all my cards and ATCs for this month with butterflies somewhere on them.

Whether I achieve this or not is a moot point but if I have all this stash to hand . . . there's not much choice is there?  lol

The screen . . .

I'm trying to encourage myself!!

So if you will forgive me I will get on as there is a lot to sort through . . . .

  3. What a fabulous idea to do the butterfly album for Peter - I hope you really enjoy doing this project, it looks like you have a fine selection there already! The screen saver is something I try to live by, I’m not a hoarder and prefer less choice to more…I know, weird!
Enjoy the sorting and maybe thin out as you’re going along xx

  6. I love the idea Christine, and so would Peter! How nice too, to use the stuff he lovingly collected, so much better than just looking on it now and then. Your July output will be beautiful, hope you enjoy every minute! As for the screensaver...oh my goodness, was it meant to be directly for me!??

  11. OMG. That quote could have been written with me in mind. I try to de-stash and de-clutter and it never ever works as well as I hope it will. Your butterfly collection is impressive and you carrying on and making his planned album is a lovely tribute. I can't wait to see it!
Happy cool and breezy belated WOYWW!
