Posting short and sweet today . . .

The Desk

Right conglomeration on my desk atm

Some received cards to be photographed, added to albums and the senders thanked.

Some ATCs in progress

One grocery order copy to be delivered this afternoon.

As you can see lots to sort and do, so the sooner I start the sooner I will finish . .  I know but I have to come visit with my friends first . . .

  1. Christine, your screen is lovely and true. It must be hard for you, Sending gentle hugs.
Nice busy desk, hope the shopping comes in on time and then you can get on with the thank you messages.
"Conglomeration" tickled me. I am reading some books at the moment and often there is a long word I have not heard of but the other day 'conglomeration' came into it and I thought "Ah, I know that one, you didn't get me this time". You don't hear it that often thse days but I have used it and probably will more so now.
    Hugs, Neet 1 xx

  2. Oh that screen saver hit home - it must be so hard when you’ve lost your partner but I still really miss my parents xx Sending you a big old hug xx
I laughed at the conglomeration, fantastic word that doesn’t get used often enough - I think we should find a good word to amuse each other. Mine is Sussuration, the soft noise that leaves makes rustling in the trees, or small waves. It sounds like the word, don’t you think?

  4. Hugs to you today. I've over 18 gals within the past year who have lost their partners. Here so many ages in 40's/50's with heart issues and no warnings. I am thankful everyday for our good health. Losing my Mother has still put me in a disbelief. Such a pretty card and thanks for the reminder I've 3 thank you's and 2 support cards to get mailed. Enjoy your week.

  6. I'm grabbing a few minutes to whizz around my favourite blogs. It's been one of those mornings with a customer who keeps forgetting to come [4th time now!!].
Your screen really hit home. I'm sure we all miss someone special. Sending you lots of love.
    Hugs,

  7. Very true sentiment, but it's still hard. You are welcome to use my card technique with your butterflies and I look forward to seeing it when it's done. Wishing you a very happy and creative woyww. Hugs, Angela x9x

  8. That screen shot really hits home. I still think of my grandparents (who raised me from birth) and they have been gone for over 20 years. Seems the ATC bug has been hit by several of us lately, too. Happy WOYWW from # 2.

  9. Screensaver is so so true. Enough said. Pretty cards there. Impressed that you print out your grocery order before it's delivered, much more reliable than a memory!!

  12. That is a lovely sentiment. I lost my Dad 20 years ago now and it still seems like just a few years. I have learned to live without him, but it took awhile. Hugs to you today, have a great week, Lindart #17
