WOYWW #769

Welcome from a foggy morning here . . . . . looking out the window one could think it was November . . . .
The Desk
I'm having a rummage . . . .  nothing like a good old rummage . . . .
Do you think we are encouraged to rummage from our days rummaging for just the right soft toy in our cot?
We always know what we're looking for when we find it . . . .
Anyhoos . . . . I am rummaging for just the right paper as a background to a card . . .
Short but sweet today as my hands aren't working as well as  they could do . . . sometimes they need a bit of rest  . . .

  1. I'm always rummaging for something, and yes, just the right paper is a must. Sorry your hands aren't playing ball, hope the rest helps and you can do more later. Hugs BJ#10

  2. Sorry about the hands, these things happen to slow us down as we get older I think. I used to be able to type fast and accurate, now I get so many typos it really slows me down (correcting my mistakes) so maybe I should type more slowly.
Thanks for the advice on turning corners, will have a try later (like when i get out of bed) and good luck with finding the right piece. If I can't find the right piece I tend to get the inks oout and have a play, either on plain card or on some coloured that I can change.
    Take care and enjoy Walter.

  3. Yes, I’m sure rummaging is programmed into us. Maybe from our ancestors rummaging through foliage to find edible herbs etc? Maybe I just read Clan of the Cave Bear at an impressionable age 😄. Your sun message is lovely.
    Take care and happy WOYWW

  4. I am not sure I can comment on rummaging as a baby! I do agree you know what is the right one when you find it🤣🤣. Ihave several pairs of fingerless gloves that help my hands I wear them during the day and if they are particularly bad at night too. I hope you can fine something to help your hands. Angela #11

  5. Rummaging has become a regular occurance since completely reorgansing and sorting through my stash - I go to the place something used to be and then have to try and work out where it's new home is now! I am loving the red and gold papers on your desk and I do hope your hands don't trouble you too much and you get your card made.
Hope you have a good week,

  7. Just to let you know, I used a piece of patterned handmade paper you sent with one of the ATC SWAPS on my journal page today. Turned it over for gluing and there was a written message from you saying. "Hi BJ Happy Anniversary, thanks for swapping God Bless you and Keep you in His Care, x Christine." (took photo of it) How special was that as it's our wedding anniversary today too. Hugs BJ#10

  12. Ah yes, hands that annoyingly need to keep resting. Such a pain (literally) when you need a good rummage! The trouble is that I start rummaging for something and then get distracted!! Have a great week. Lisa-Jane #13 www.prettymypage.co.uk

  13. Surprise! I ran across an old comment and thought I'd pop in to see how you were! I'm sorry to hear that you're having pain with your hands. You're smart to rest them. I hope you found the toy, er, paper you were looking for! I saw your hope post prior and just loved it, Christine! Hope, indeed, but what a shame to have the other bulbs dug up! Take care. Hugs, Darnell
