Well, we welcome in yet another cold, wet dank day .........it's a good job we have Christmas cards to make to cheer ourselves up!
I have finally found the time to make the cards, but there is not much of it, so I have taken the simple 'recycling' road......
My hopes for next year's cards - as per usual, start early and create 'arty' cards - are not very high ....... but I might just get round to using up all that red and green!!
PJ has been busy helping out with the 'Polar Express' so hasn't had much time for his own train this week. It sounds so exciting but, as with all new occasions, there have been several hiccups along the way. There was so much demand that the website crashed the first day but they have now managed to get hold of more elf 'helpers' so things are going along nicely. Quite exciting actually!
Short and sweet this week, I'm off to the Library to collect a copy of the Water Babies. I'm hoping that the ordered copy has arrived and I can settle down to read a book which I haven't read since Junior School!
Take care and stay warm.
Oh I love that card - and the tree paper peeking out of the stack!

Hi Christine, You've reminded me I have some red & green card blanks in a drawer somewhere! Great job with the card. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #4 X
ReplyDeleteHi Christine. Ditto on not enough cards. Might get batch ones but doubt it. Made 24 but need 4 dozen minimum. Must do list as it needs culling.
ReplyDeleteHi to PJ hope hiccups sort out for them and all goes well.
Prayer hugs Shaz in Oz.x #15
Great card! I am so over making Christmas cards now!! Luckily nearly there... Helen #5
ReplyDeleteHi Christine, giggled at your hopes for next year's Christmas cards not being very high! I have to say there is a good sense of humour on all the WOYWW blogs. Makes me smile on a dark, damp Wednesday evening! Think I might watch a Christmas movie when I've finished hopping round desks, There's a definite Christmas theme on the blogs. Have a lovely week Heather x #8
ReplyDeleteHi Christine, I really must use up my coloured card blanks and Christmas is a great time to do it. Happy woyww, Angela x16x
ReplyDeleteNothing wrong with recycling Christine. I often hang onto pretty cards to reuse bits. Hope your book had arrived. Sarah #10
ReplyDeleteI often recycle have to here where I can't buy materials. Couldn't even buy some price labels this morning. A small price to pay for living in the sun away from civilisation and shops. Love that 3 shepherds card people are always asking for religious cards saying you can't buy them anymore. Have a productive week. Ani #12
