WOYWW #364

Good morrow friends!

by this greeting do you know I haven't a clue what day of the week it is!!

Spyder just left me a comment on a previous posting which made me stop and think!

Ah! Well! I'm here now . . . . .  better late than never.

My desk is too covered to do any work, I have been outside anyhow.

The desk . . .

I managed to complete 12 cards from a 6 x6 sheet of paper.  I have used kraft, cream, yellow and white base cards with lemon and pale turquoise matting card.  It was a very interesting afternoon's work but the lessons learnt are:

Use more dynamic papers and matting card next time.

Have a trial run as to placement of 'pieces' of paper so that sentiments can be better placed on cards.

Other than that yes!  all good.

I have been outside most of the week trying to sort the pumps in the fish pond.  I cleaned them again but this time neither of them are working.

They should look like this . . . .

but after attempting to get them going, one looks like this . . .

. . .  and the other one looks like a pipe stuck into the water!!!

Hopefully, I will be able to visit Shirley Aquatics and buy a new one . . . . maybe two . . . .

So there you have it . . . . Christine losing track of where she is, what day it is and what she should be doing . . .??

Ah! well, now she's going visiting . . . . desk surveying . . .  even commenting . . . .

WOYWW - All the deets on how to link up etc. and, more importantly, why you should, can be found at the top of the page.  Thank you Julia for hosting another week of fun and mayhem.

  1. No beat yourself up about it, I missed a class that I was supposed to teach, thinking it was a different day. We have so much going on it's difficult to keep track. Hope you get your pond sorted Christine.

  3. ... and I've just realised I shoulda visited some one and forgot! Our pond has a pump in a well, cleverly disguised as a dustbin in a deep hole and covered with a large paving stone, it pumps the water back up to a raised rockery and then down a waterfall and back into the pond then goes down under a bridge and along a small ditch back to the 'well' There's also a 'frog' that squirts water, at the moment the frog is just dribbling, so we know we have to clear out the pump....we'll probably need a new one this time too. Happy late woyww! ((Lyn))
