WOYWW? What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday of course! The day I go travelling round as many desks as I can to see what other folks have been up to and, of course, my Thanks go to Julia at Stamping Ground for enabling so many desks and lifestyles to be shared each week. Thank you.
My desk this week is very unused. I have had a lot going on this week and I need the space to find out where I am . . . how much I have completed . . . . what is still to be finished . . . . or even started!!
The 'Rexel' sleeve to the right contains finished cards, somewhere nearby is another rexel containing the cards to finish . . .
The list to the left is my guide . . . .hah! guide only when I remember to look at it . . . .
I hope to visit a few more desks this week, sorry if I missed you the last couple of weeks, will try to do better.
In the meantime, avoid the showers and enjoy the sunshine.
There’s a lot to be said for just stopping and taking stock of where you are, I’m a so and so for rushing into things! Card making sounds a good thing to do, I need to make some for the WI members (I’m the card Monitor, lol!) and will probably do that in the shade while the temps are high this weekend!

I, too, am taking a look at where I am craft-wise and life-wise. It feels crazy to be so busy when life is still so limited. My desk is forever changing from this craft to that craft and I feel all over the place most days. Ah well, as Jan says, taking stock is not a bad thing. At least it'll be sunny - after all the darn rain I am ready for it (till it creeps past 24 degrees then I'll be moaning about that DOH!)

I think we all need to do this Christine at least you have a space free to go do what comes to mind. Well done on having a folder full of finished and a folder full of unfinished, if I could find any of mine either way it would be a blessing. Just enjoy the moment and keep taking a peep at that to do list.
ReplyDeleteHappy WoywW Hugs Tracey #9 take care x
Some of my 'unfinished' stuff will never be finished. I don't like admitting that but it is true. I have two lovely suitcases I started to make years ago and I even got the club to do a refresher on them and still did not finish. Maybe I can find a "friend" to finish them off for me.
ReplyDeleteHope you have better luck than me and get your ufo's flying out the craft room.
Take care,
Neet 5 xx
You made me smile today as I have lists all over the place and my diary is full of things I want to do. I do have things though that are still waiting after several years! Still you are organised so at least you know what needs doing. Wishing you a very happy and creative woyww, Angela x16x
ReplyDeleteyes, I missed people last week, or went twice to others, Or I did comment but, where did it go!? Thank you again for the plates they are going to be very useful. Crafters Campanion do plates for the Mini Gemini...and its cheaper to get three than one, but I will tell them they only last a couple of weeks! (less than a month!) (ok, so I was using them alot but...weeks, does seem a bit unfair.) Your desk is soooo tidy, I really want mine, just one week, to be able to see the whole bench instead of the tiny 6x6 I'm left crafting in!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your visit! Stay Safe, Keep on Crafting and have a Happy WOYWW?! ((Lyn)#15
I had to enlarge to just doh le check that my eyes weren’t deceiving me. Yes, a jug filled with dinosaurs! I love the list as guide, I so know what you mean…a guide to those jobs you e written down, at least. Never mind the other few sloshing about in your mind! It doesn’t matter, one job at a time and keep well whilst doing them. Xxx
ReplyDeleteLove your empty desk, shows you've been up and around doing busy things. As for the to do and unfinished. Bin them and start afresh, then you can have a clear mind to start from scratch! ;D I do that sometimes it's a whew off the shoulder thing.
ReplyDeleteKeep sane and well

Love the kitties on your computer desktop! And what are you doing with those dinosaurs? Come on, time to mess up that desk! xx zsuzsa #24
ReplyDeleteI think we all have moments/days of MoJo changes sometimes personal things just don't even give us the good attitude to comment and I can't imagine working again...Been retired and would be hard to cope with our world today at a true job. I love to listen to music when in my crafty space and it changes my outlook a lot. Wishing a great weekend, My thrill this week was an Iced Mocha with the best Egg McMuffin I've ever had. Then I went to 2 thrift shops, I felt like a new person !!!
ReplyDeleteTalking stock of where we are is such a good idea. I often go from one idea to the next and I was thinking the other day I need a To Do list, maybe crafts in order of importance. Happy WOYWW Angela #7
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of having completed cards and unfinished cards. For me, it's collage fodder for journal pages or altered book pages. It appears you have several empty mugs and measuring cups on your desk, too, although some seem to be in use. I think you are wise to take a breather and determine where you need to go next. Happy WOYWW from # 6.
ReplyDeleteYou won't be the last to not get much done, don't tell but I often put paint on a page just for Wednesdays lol. Take care Helen #2
ReplyDeleteYou sound very organised and I love the clean, tidy desk - I think it's easier to get crafting when the desk is ready rather than if you have to make space before you can start. I live by lists, in fact I don't think I would function if I couldn't keep lists!
ReplyDeleteHave a good week,
Diana xx #19
I must admit that I do like a list to follow Christine. These days I keep a diary just for crafting with projects I am aiming to complete each day and when deadlines are etc. Good luck sorting what cards need replenishing. Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #3
ReplyDeleteI love a list! I find the act of writing it clarifies my mind. I may never even look at it again!! Thanks for the visit, Happy WOYWW, stay well, stay safe, love n hugs Cindyxx #8
ReplyDeleteThat's a very tidy desk, Christine, and it sounds as if you are getting proper organised!
