WOYWW #631

WOYWW - All the deets on how to link up etc. and, more importantly, why you should, can be found at the top of the page.  Thank you Julia for hosting another week of fun and mayhem.

first off I have to say thank you to all my visitors and their interesting comments.  I didn't manage to get round to everyone to say thank you but I do now as I appreciate you taking an interest.

The desk this week has seen a lot of changes as I actually spent some time creating . . . . a whole day and I loved it!!

Today it looks like this:

Various items left over and scattered across the desk . .

These are some cards, created after I found a pack which I thought would be suitable for Men, all ready now and will be posted out this month.

On the keyboard is a printout of a One Sheet Wonder . . . this is to make six cards from a 6"x6" paper sheet.  I have several of these pads of paper and I intend to use them up!!

These are the left over sheets from the cards . . .  OSW here I come!!

Last week I was telling how my printer ink had run out and I needed to retrieve a new cartridge from Peter's desk.  I think I also mentioned that I had stored all the Christmas boxes and bags in his office . . . . .

This is triple rowed!!

I cheated and just removed the left hand row, managing to squeeze through and get to his desk!!

There were all the inks in their glory!!

I am now back up and running 'smoothly', I'm whispering that just in case . . . .

Have a good week, I hope the sun shines on you wherever you are . . . .

  1. Lovely men's cards, but I'm confused as to how you make a card from those small measurements. More like gift cards, maybe. I like your pile of leftovers. They are inspiring, actually! Glad your printer is running again. You had quite the challenge getting to the ink. Happy WOYWW from #2.

  6. A day of crafting sounds good to me and looks as though it was very successful too. I always love to see ideas for male cards as I find it difficult to come up with something different. Looks like your hubby tried to hide the ink but they should know that there's no stopping us Lol! we will get at stuff one way or another. I love the One sheet Wonders they are very useful when you're stuck for an idea. Wishing you a very happy and creative woyww, Angela x18x

  7. I'm actually distracted by that paper with the drawers on it, love that one. And I think I can recognise some blue IKEA bags in your doorway. I have a similar look in the spare room atm lol Happy WOYWW! Elle #24, EOTC

  9. Well I will be looking forward to seeing how you make your cards out of 6X6 paper. I have got that card with the drawers on, or I may have covered it. I had no idea what to do with it! Have a great weekend Angela #3

  10. OH! so good to see you up and getting dirty! I was watching You Tube this morning and a lady made 28 cards from a 6x6 pack of paper. They looked good too, so I hope I can remember some of them to do maybe one or two! Love your masculine cards and glad you were able to get to the inks.
    Keep sane and happy.

  11. Gorgeous papers Christine, and my goodness, Peter left you with an obstacle course to negotiate to get to his precious inks, didn't he! I can just see him, looking down on you and chuckling at you, struggling to get through!

    Happy belated WOYWW,

  12. LOL Christine glad you managed to get in (and out) to retrieve the ink!! OSWs sound really good but I have yet to attempt one - good for batch making though!! Unfortunately I have so much paper I don't think making lots of cards from 1 piece really helps - I need the opposite - UUAL - Uses Up A Lot!! Happy WOYWW, Cindy #23 xx

  15. I was just back tracking to double check where I'd been! And I haven't' been' here! I have some of those gardening type papers (free with a magazine) they are very useful!) although not the ones with the drawers, I haven't got that one...But Its really weird that it was that pattern which drew me into the picture first.I must have watched the same video as the comment above, where the lady used up her 6x6 papers and made 28 cards...well.., the last vid I watched from her she made over 80! I'm not brave enough to use up my papers that way! Very late...what ever woyww this is! ((Lyn))
