WOYWW? What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday of course! The day I go travelling round as many desks as I can to see what other folks have been up to and, of course, my Thanks go to Julia at Stamping Ground for enabling so many desks and lifestyles to be shared each week. Thank you.
Not much going on really . . . . some received cards that I have yet to thank folks for, some envelopes ready for my next batch of paperwork, and all that entails.
I have a bad back.I can't move without being in pain.
I have been very blessed by God and have always been, mostly, fit and healthy. THIS pain is something that I am finding difficult to deal with . . . . . so I withdraw . . . . When I find my own level is the time I will let people know that I have been a 'bit off colour'. I always say that I don't have time to be ill, I am at the wrong end of the timeline . . . . Well, I think that is going to have to change . . . .
Thankfully, I have two darling daughters who help in every way they can.
DDC came and pruned my roses, cleared the frontage and cleared up behind her! Makes me feel so happy to look out of the window at my tidy frontage and remember how lovely it was, me sitting on a chair, her doing the garden and both of us chatting . . . . in the sunshine . . . . smashing.
DDN does my shopping and this weekend will be taking the chickens to their new home . . . . The decision has been made so at least some good has come out of the pain . . .
I will keep you all updated.
Have a good week
Sorry to see you are in pain with your back, I hope you are being sensible and taking it easy, although you probably don't have much choice. Glad your DD's are helping, and the chickens are sorted. Hugs (gentle ones) and love. Happy WOYWW Helen #4

ReplyDeleteOH! poor you, I had back pain recently, so can really feel your pain. Another suggestion for the pain? Acupuncture! it's a subject that doesn't get a good press sometimes, but after I had it, I could walk out of the surgery, when I could hardly walk in. You are very lucky to have lovely daughters to help, they have a lovely Mum too.
ReplyDeleteSorry about your chickens, but if needs must? and sometimes life tells us what to do even if we don't want to.
Keep safe and hope you're out of pain soon.
Hugs

Like you, I don’t deal with illness well so I would withdraw too. I’m so sorry that your back is causing such pain and sincerely hope that there are meds that can take the edge off it. Thank goodness for your girls, they’re wonderful aren’t they.

So sorry to hear about your back as I know what it can be like and impacts on everything you do so hope it's better soon. Sending gentle hugs, Angela x14x
ReplyDeleteOh Christine, I’m the same. Withdraw and find a level. I hate that you’re in pain and hope you have something that relieves it a little? a don’t suffer, no doctor would advise that, ask for pain help. Meanwhile, your DDs are marvellous indeed, it’s a sign of love, you know.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you are ib pain and hope its eases soon, its terrible when we get to the point where we have to give in to it,
