On a dull September morning I greet you with a photo of my desk....
Not much happening as I have cleared the desk, apart from the happy mail, ready to ensure I visit as many deskers as I can before actually starting work . . . . .
My happy mail consists of a card, which has been redirected, and an ATCoin swap from Mary Ann. I am so happy . . . . I shall keep this with my other MaryAnn artworks.
I love the idea of having a SHAPED Coin swap. I may even have to go to ATCsForAll and host a swap . . . .
Short but sweet this week as I need to 'get on', lots to do as once again I have had a few techie problems, they have taken a couple of my days to sort and are not completed yet.
Ho Hum, Ho Hum . . .
Have a good week
BTW
WOYWW - All the deets on how to link up etc. and, more importantly, why you should, can be found at the top of the page. Thank you Julia for hosting another week of fun and mayhem.
Sorry to hear you’ve been having techie problems...hope you get them sorted soon.

The ATC coins are interesting, aren’t they and I think that Mary Anne is a master of them, it really gives a different look to the normal rectangular ones. Sorry to hear you have tech problems, sigh, brilliant when it goes well, pain in the whatsit when it doesn’t.

Shaped ATC coins - now that's an idea! Love Mary Anne's - looks like a 50p coin - only with more sides and bigger. I's quite gloomy here too and I'm wearing my woolly socks, but you know what, I'd rather take this over the extreme heat - in fact I quite like it like this! Thanks for your visit, Christine! Have a happy week! xx zsuzsa #20
ReplyDeleteThe shaped ATC coins sound fab.

I love the shaped coin ATC idea - and Mary Anne's is beautiful - I sometimes get fed up doing the same old rectangular shapes, it's good to mix it up a bit! Hope your tech problems are soon sorted.

Shaped atc's? Not heard of them before. I bought a punch to do the atc coins but I never really saw them take off anywhere. Now that I don't go to the show in the Netherlands I have loads of them stuck in a folder. Do you want a couple?
ReplyDeleteHugs, neet 12 xx
Thanks for your visit, was beginning to wonder where Julia was this am. Shaped atc's now that's an idea. Sorry you have had techno problems, I despair when things go wrong. Have a good week. Ani
ReplyDeleteIt's interesting what you mentioned about the ATCoins as I've also been attaching moulded pieces to them though obviously it makes them quite thick but it was just an idea. Hope your techie problems get sorted soon, it's such a pain. Sending hugs and happy woyww thoughts, Angela x6x
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you are continuing to have techie problems, Christine - may they be short-lived. I love the current screen saver! I am glad you are enjoying your swapping.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your visit, and I'm glad you enjoyed my various projects this week. LLJ suggested that a darker grout might improve the tile so this afternoon I put the first coat of black acrylic on it and already I'm liking it better - photos next week. I am hoping also to have some photos of Phase Two of the discs project if I can get on with it. That photo of Ruby being loved is rather sweet, isn't it - just after the vet visit - so forgiving!
Happy WOYWW and God bless,

Hope the tech issues are sorted now. thanks for visiting. Helen #3
ReplyDeleteTechi problems are so frustrating. What the kids would solve in minutes can take me weeks.
ReplyDeleteWe had a lovely day in Pendle. I’ve got lots of pics ready for my blog post on Friday

I'm having 'tec' problems too. Luckily Hubby has at last found a way in to Stamping Ground! I was beginning to get withdrawal sympsons....but I'm affraid, nothing can help with my bad spelling! Lucky you for swapping ATC's with Mary-Ann. Happy WOYWW ((Lyn))#24
ReplyDeleteI hear the Hubster downstairs talking to the postie - I expect I might find your coin in his hands when he gets inside! Now I wonder what the other art from me you have....
ReplyDeleteLOL!
Happy WOYWW

Something I've never done is ATC's coins? that is something new to me. Hope your techie problems are sorted soon?

I quite like working with ATC coins, I had an idea that I started before I switched rooms around, that involved cutting them up with scissors, and then I moved rooms and lost them. Just found them again so I need to get that project done. Happy WOYWW! Elle #11, EOTC
ReplyDeleteI like your screensaver, a children's drawing isn't it? Nice!!! I hope your tech problems are gone by now. Enjoy your weekend, hug from Holland. Marit #4
ReplyDeleteYour desk looks nice and tidy Christine, I don't think mine ever looks that tidy.
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting my blog and leaving a lovely comment.

I have done quite a few ATCoins but I think I still prefer ATCs. What I like to do is make special ATC folders for my swaps...
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW!
Stay safe and keep well!
