And where are we today? Sat at desk looking out on early morning sunlight .. .

I am in the middle of setting up my post box, so all the cards created so far are ready to go to recipients.
To the left of the photo are some that have been received, photos and thanks also to be done.
The cards are centre stage while the boxes containing labels, stamps, tape etc are to the right.
I usually hold onto my cards until they are all completed but I have set up a new tracking system to try to ensure that postage dates are met . . . . . sometimes I forget to allow two weeks to reach America . . .
The Screen this week
After having spent Monday with DDC and the Gsons, I met up with these six and I can only say it is also very tiring!!
WOYWW - All the deets on how to link up etc. and, more importantly, why you should, can be found at the top of the page. Thank you Julia for hosting another week of fun and mayhem!
Good to get a system in place Christine. Looks like you had fun (on FB) with the family. Get some rest now. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #12
ReplyDeleteHow clever to have a system for sending cards out - and on time! I must think about this one as I need a reminder and one so organised is ideal.
ReplyDeleteI can well imagine time spent with the grandees is tiring, but so rewarding to the soul.
Hugs, Neet 5 xx
LOL! I need a a system too. I do it for ATCs but cards are a much more casual affair. You need to stay on top of it after a day with allll those Grandkids!
ReplyDeleteHappy desk-hopping day!

Well done on your system for cards. I'm bad at remembering to make them let alone post them! Great screen messsge . Happy woyww Helen #4
ReplyDeleteI love your cards, the dragonfly in particular is so pretty! I saw a couple of pics on FB about your day, it looked a lot of fun even if you were tired at the end. The Best Doctor 6 list says it all really but why is it so hard to stick to sometimes especially the rest….? Take care and have a great week,

Good morning, Christine.
ReplyDeleteFirst off, I do love that 'best doctors' image. So very true.
I'm trying to get cards set up for birthdays/ anniversaries in the same manner. Since getting the studio organized, I've been knocking off tasks one by one. That system is next on my list.... now that I have room! LOL
Creative Blessings! ~Kelly #20
I do enjoy sending cards to friends and family. Lately I've been very busy and been falling behind!

Well done on your organisation. I tend to make cards to be sent a month in advance, with the date written under where the stamp will be. Love your idea too. I sent a card end of June, still not received in the US. Grrr
ReplyDeleteWell done for your system. Your dragonfly card is beautiful. I agree with your six doctors!
ReplyDeleteTake care and happy WOYWW

Your cards are beautiful. Now I have another reason why I don't make cards. I would feel intimidated. However, I applaud you on your organization. Always much needed regardless the genre.
ReplyDeleteSounds like the best idea in the world, but I suspect grandchildren can really take it out of you! Happy WOYWW from # 3.
Busy Bunny Post Lady it seems. Gorgeous dragonfly. Hugs BJ#7
ReplyDeleteSounds like you deserve a rest Christine, still bet you enjoyed it really. Hugs Angela x11
ReplyDeleteIt’s remembering to post the cards that I am terrible at. I was wondering if people would mind having their car a month early. I could post it as soon as it was made that way 🤣. Angela #21
ReplyDeleteI have the system - I just forget to look at the calender!! Had me some lovely cuddles on Wednesday but it knackered me out!! Sorry I am so late, the week went downhill from Weds lunchtime, as it often does, so here I am playing catch up. Enjoy the rest of the week! Love n hugs Cindyxx #13
