April Colour Swap - Favourite Colour

Favourite Colour - Gold

I don't really have a favourite colour so I have chosen ...... gold.
I used a pale orange card as my base and then cut some gold card to sit on top ..... slightly small but I don't have any more to hand at the moment.

I am using the images that came free with a 'Making Cards and papercraft Magazine.  

Looking at these photos I see my wonky eye is still at work!!!

I printed the quotes from the web, I collect them (how sad!) so can usually find several to retype and print out.  Once cut to size I added them at angles ....

It appears that I don't have a wonky eye after all, it's the way I use the guillotine.  
I am left handed and only have right handed cutters ......have to be left handed to sort that one out.... anyhows, when I cut I am watching my fingers and the card is slipping with that first cut ..... 
....once my blade is coming down safely, I then make sure I am holding the card still but the damage is done .... the card or paper has slipped ever so slightly ....
I shall be watching that card under the blade ....... be still and straight!
