WOYWW #465

What'sOnYourWorkdeskWednesday - if you want to find out more then checkout the WOYWW tab at the top of the page - and our thanks go to Julia for hosting this weekly meet up.

Well may you ask "What on earth are you doing?"

The story is that I tend to save cereal box fronts and backs (and shoe boxes!) to cut up for my ATC base cards.  I found two such items while clearing and I have decided to make up a Masterboard before cutting the ATCs.
It's true that I don't know what I am doing but I have a faint idea that all the cards made from this background will just need an image and sentiment to complete ..... all will be explained in a later post .... if it works out well.... if not, this is the one and only photo!!!

I have lined up various paints, mark makers, masks etc and I am just 'trying them out!'
There is too much thinking going on round here, too much stash, too much need to create so this is what you get when 'too much' gets together!
We shall be busy today, out and about, shopping, exploring and fish watching but, hopefully, I will be back later.
Welcome home Shaz and Doug - sorry it's so wet and cold but it can only get better.
The rest of you .... have a good day and stay warm.

  1. It's a fabulous masterboard Christine and your doing a grand job as it's what masterboards are all about having the space and blank canvas to be creative. Great therapy even if you decide not to use it you can always do it all over again on the same piece.
Wishing you a fab day & Thank you for sharing WOYWW

  2. Well, I think that recycling's a great idea - brownie points if it succeeds and you haven't wasted anything if it doesn't! It's sunny but freezing here and I'm going to play tennis shortly, I've had to put extra layers on!

PS I've been into Julia's Mr Linky account and deleted the old links so your number will be different.

  3. Great idea to make a masterboard first and then cut it down. I imagine it's a quicker way of making backgrounds for ATCs rather than individually. Have a good day! Sarah #9

  4. I like doing a Masterboard for my atc's, you don't know what will appear on each one when you cut them - good fun!
Hope the weather bucks up, it is lovely and sunny but a biting wind where I am - summer? Guess the old saying is right "don't cast a clout till May's gone out". Is it worth buying summer clothes?
    Hugs (grumbling, sorry) Neet xx

  5. I won't be joining the swap this year as I just moved houses and am still not settled in my new atelier - it's a pity 'cause I always like this 'event' - I hope to join again next year. Have fun creating! Happy woyww, love from Holland, Marit #23

  6. Afternoon Christine. You are having FUN - complete with capital letters! The board looks great - I'm sure you will add loads more, and then chopping it all up will change the look again.
    Take care. God bless.

  8. Christine , it is confusion. As we age it happens and usually means we need more chocolate. The master board is fine. just do your thing. the world is under a confusion cloud.
