WOYWW #468

What'sOnYourWorkdeskWednesday - if you want to find out more then checkout the WOYWW tab at the top of the page - and our thanks go to Julia for hosting this weekly meet up.

Anniversary day has arrived!!!

Let the party begin ...... I have crisps and sandwiches and cream cheeses and some fruit juice ......  Any one bringing the dessert?

My desk is sort of tidy today ..... well, yesterday actually!

So I ask you ..... what does Father Christmas, cogs & gears, the colours pink, blue & green have in common?
They add up to an Anniversary ATC!

I have made 8 cards, four of which have already be allocated to deskers, but if four further folks would like one then please ask in the comments and I will be in touch.

Thank you all those kind hearted folks who left messages for PJ over the last two weeks, they have been so appreciated.  Cheers a soul up to know that folks care.

I am sorry I haven't managed to visit many desks, been a bit full on round here!!  I hope to visit as many as I can this week.......

Good news corner.....

PJ has had a 'procedure' to pin his hand and is awaiting further appointments for a check up and for physio.

There is a plasterer on the premises as I type preparing my hall, stairs and landing for plastering ready for decorating.

We have a decorator/painter standing by.......

...... and the sun is shining!!!

  1. Hi Christine, hope PJ gets a quick appointment for physio (he didn't have to take the idea of plastering so literally). Hope all the plastering and decorating goes well. Happy anniversary. Sarah #14

  3. Morning Christine and PJ. Glad the man is on the mend - but, I have to say, it's a bit of an extreme way of getting out of doing the decorating! it is certainly manic in your household at the moment. Are you stuck for getting around? Do you actually drive as well???
Take care the pair of you. God bless.

  5. Hi Cindy, glad he is progressing well. Physio for such things really does make a huge difference to gaining use back! I agree with the others though, a bit far to go to avoid decorating! Plastering creates such an amount of dust, doesn't it? Recall having some of our rooms done. Place looked like I hadn't dusted for years, lol. Happy 9th Birthday, Have a lovely week, Love & Hugs, Shaz #6 XxX

  6. Happy 9th WOYWW! Well, everything is looking rosy on your blog today! So glad to hear that PJ's hand is being sorted, I think his purple cast/bandage is rather fetching! Hooray for plasterers too - we have one coming tomorrow to sort out our new bathroom. It's all go!!

  10. What a huge difference your desk looks like this week from last. It is really much tidier, that's for sure.

I LOVE the good news corner, and so good to see your husband smiling. Good luck with your renovation. Hope you are enjoying the party. Happy 9th anniversary from #13.

  12. Hi Christine, I'm late visiting so missed those sandwiches hee hee!! Happy belated 9th WOYWW always a win when cogs and gears are involved. Seems like PJ's procedure is well in hand, wishing you a speedy recovery PJ. Good to see you have a decorator on standby.

  13. Yikes, Peter is really going through it - these falls that seem to not be too much trouble are the worst, I think. Sincerely hope that however inconvenienced, he’s not in pain...that’s just miserable. On the bright side, he’ll be able to ‘supervise’ the plasterer and decorator from his injured position!! Love the ‘parts’of Father Christmas on your desk, made me chuckle!

  14. Happy anniversary! I love your last words...the sun is shining. It reminds me of the saying "there's always something to be thankful for". Isn't that true. Prayers for quick healing for PJ. Dorlene #40
