I do not class myself as an idiot, I have been working with Computers since 1995 but this has me beat . . . .
Another enjoyable week has flown by. What an assortment this last week has contained!
But . . . .the Desk
Please notice that there are just a few postage stamps to the left . . . . I have spent a lot of time this week updating the spreadsheet with all the details of my stamp collection so most of it has been put away.
The paper to the left of the mousemat has instructions for a 'Double Pleat Fold' card which I hope to complete this week.
Spiderman has developed a few holes which need filling and painting before he can go outside by the pond to join his 'brother'!!
The new wallpaper is a photo taken from here, with permission, it reminds me there is a world outside!!
I hope to get some crafting done this week, there is rain forecast so I will have to stay inside . . . shame . . .

Although the new blogger is default Christine, it is apparently possible to access the legacy (old) version. Try scrolling down the page in your dashboard and find the button to go back to it. It's what I plan to do as I can't get on with the new version for writing and publishing posts either. Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #8

I haven't tried using the new Blogger on the iPad but find it ok on the PC - I've just swapped and stuck with it as it'll change eventually. They've hidden away some of the symbols, the sizing of photos has me foxed at first. I'm more than happy to send you a mask - do you want the brown dachshund fabric? The one I used for the specs cases is too thick for a mask and couldn't be washed at a high enough temp? Let me know what you want. I'm happy to make you some more and post them xx

ReplyDeleteI too am having problems with the new blogger. Main thing seems to be the size and styles of fonts. I am accustomed to copying and pasting... That does not seem to work. Hope they fix some of these issues!

I went to the forum and we're not the only ones that think it's rubbish but you don't have to use it as the classic that we're using at the moment will still be available to use. ReplyDeleteSorry I’m late Christine. A double pleat fold? Good grief, talk about looking complicated! If that were my desk, Spider-Man would sit about there for absolutely ages, then one day I’d get sick of the sight of him and voila, a ten minute job done!! I use iPad to blog and have gone back to using the App rather than directly on the blogger dashboard. It’s OK to use ‘legacy’ for now, but eventually they’ll force the change on you. Seems as though there are a great many ‘bugs’ to be ironed out at this point.
ReplyDeleteIt looks as if you've got a nice lot of interesting projects going on there, Christine. As for the dreaded Blogger, sorry to hear you are struggling with it. It just makes me really, really glad that I abandoned Blogger for good last year and went onto Wordpress. They messed me around royally and managed to delete 8 years' worth of photos off my blog. Their editor was always clunky and horrible in my opinion, and I used a 3rd party editor offline, and then Blogger changed something and it was no longer compatible. I feel well rid of Blogger! Anyway, if you feel stuck with it, I hope you manage to work out how to use their new system. It seems you aren't the only one who is struggling.
