WOYWW #577

My Thanks go to Julia at Stamping Ground for enabling so many desks and lifestyles to be shared each week.  Thank you.

After WOYWW  visiting last Wednesday, I was inspired by Shaz' desk to make room on mine and maybe do some crafting!  I decided that the rather large pen/pencil container was not really needed at the side and it would be better accessible on the trolley.

At the moment this trolley has most of my card, envelopes etc and a box of 'junk' sits atop.
I keep meaning to sort all this paperwork, which is moved from my desk and plonked there.  I removed the box and sorted the paperwork and then started on my desk.
PJ noticed at this time that the trolley had a decidedly lean to the left so he tightened up a few screws and declared it safe to use again!

Off came the box of 'writing utilities' . . . . and onto the trolley it went.  I think it looks a lot messier but . . .

Look at the desk!!

How super is that!!!  Thank you Shaz!

This is what WOYWW is all about, it's not just making friends, it is about being inspired.

I forgot to mention that while the space from the box was still there (before I filled it!!) I did a push to the left and then removed all the plants on the windowsill.  They are now sitting on the plant theatre outside, enjoying the company of other plants . . . . and getting some TLC!  A quick clean of the windowsill and a few containers of ATC cards moved over from the desk . . .  a bit more room!!
I am going to make this month's swap cards now and thoroughly enjoy the space inspired by Shaz.

As I am writing this post, I noticed that the old template has kicked in.  Has Blogger abandoned the new one??!!
OOPS!  Don't know what happened there but I have come back to edit and  . . . . the new one is here again!!!!

  1. Hi Christine. I am impressed with all your hard work and effort - well done. Blogger certainly seems to be throwing everyone into confusion!!
Take care. Stay safe. God bless.

  2. I quite like the new Blogger now I've got used to it - the only pain is loading up only one pic at a time. You've done a good lot of sorting there and PJs trolley fixing definitely did the trick!! If you send me your SiL's address via Messenger, I'll mail her a couple of masks direct, it seems daft doing two lots of postage.

  4. Wow Christine, that's one tidy desk... I'm afraid my studio has reverted to its usual state: dumping ground. It certainly is more inspiring to get creating if it's neat and tidy.

Thank you for your visit. The cardigan is worth persevering with, after all this time, and the effort that's already gone into it. I am thrilled that you want to try the banana curry! It is very tasty and nutritious, and it doesn't take long, either. I always make enough for 2 days (6 bananas for 2 of us), and I always use brown rice. Have fun with it and let me know what you think!

    Happy WOYWW and God bless,

  6. The trouble I have is a tidy desk for one or two days then it reverts to untidy, but I know where most things are. I will be thinking about investing in one of these trolley items they seem like a good idea. Have a good week Ani

  8. Hi Christine, it's strange, my new Blogger seems to run exactly like the old, apart from an initial font size problem, all seems the same. I keep checking to make sure it is the new one! Happy to have inspired you, my tidy doesn't last too long though!Love those trolleys, I ended up getting two, one has cleared a lot of stuff off my desk, but still kept it handy, the second now holds all my dies. Stay safe, Have a good week, Hugs, Shaz #5 X

  9. Hi Christine, Sorry for the late visit. Plenty of free space for crafting now. I do tend to keep my desk as tidy as I can with it being a multi purpose room. It does feel good sitting down at a desk with space to craft! Job well done! I haven't noticed any difference on blogger, so I can't decide if I am on the new one or not. I haven't downloaded anything - not sure if it is an automatic change/update or whether I should do something. I'm currently contemplating a trolley, still undecided yet. Have a lovely week and stay safe and well, Heather xx #4

  10. Your desk looks positively spacious Christine, well worth all that hard work of reorganising. A word of warning though: trolleys have a habit of reproducing lol. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #7

  12. I’ve no idea what Blogger is doing, it seems to want change for no good reason! Your desk looks like a different place doesn’t it - i bet the light is different now that the windowsill is freed up too..and I think its a good idea to move the pens and erm, other stuff in the pen box, out of the direct light. The trolley does look entirely full, but its no matter, its meant to be useful!
