WOYWW #569

My thanks to Julia (see tab at top of page) for hosting another get together of deskers.

I am in the middle of sorting out past post (!)  All my post has been collected into one box and waited patiently for me to sort it.  I have managed to take photos and thank folks but that was it.  Now it needs to be filed . . . . . .
My Desk:

My unsorted post to the left and my sorted post to the right . . . .Just behind the ATCs & Coins box can be seen the last of my Charity kits, I purchase them from Christine and the cost goes to a different Charity each month.. . On the keyboard is a list I am compiling for Glitter and Glue . . . you may get the completed one today Margaret but don't hold your breath!!

I also have this morning's post to do as well . . . . Thank you Postie for carrying on working.

In other news . . . . it's still raining!!
I am not complaining as it has perked up all the plants I have planted and re-potted over the last few days.

Thank you to all my visitors, over the last few weeks your comments have really cheered me up.  I will try again to visit as many Blogs as I can . . . .

  1. You can hear the plants breathing a huge sigh of relief eh? MIne too, all the little veg plants look so much happier now after 36 hours of rain. Having said that, the sun is now shining and we have blue skies again (1pm) I might even get some washing out! Nice to see your crafting, I'm glad you're feeling well enough to enjoy doing some again.
    Take acre and keep safe,

  2. Hi Christine. So good to se you so cheerful - glad we were all able to help a little. God is good - all the time. Little plants now growing well, that sounds like a plan. I haven't planted any at all! Got so many in the garden... I don't think there is a spare inch to place any more.
Take care. Stay safe. God bless.

  4. Hi Christine! Rain is good. I just put some grass seeds on Saturday and have had two days of rain. So much better than me having to water them. I am so happy you posted about the charity kits. I have been wanting to create some products to sell for charity and haven't figured out the best way to do it. So I am hoping I might send her an email to ask her some questions so I can get started. I think her idea is wonderful. It's funny I have been thinking about it a lot lately and then today I read your post and find inspiration to act. Thank you for sharing. Stay well.

  6. That's lovely post Christine, the postie's are fabulous for bringing us things to make our day. They are all doing a valuable job like many more that need to be recognised. Hope you are keeping well? Isn't is nice to see how much greener the past couple of days rain has made everything look around us. Stay safe Tracey #14

  7. Lots of lovely post to show - and the posties are doing a great job aren't they. I love the rain, the garden smells so lovely when it gets rained on after a long dry spell - you can almost hear the plants drinking it up!
    Have a good week,

  9. Hi Christine, you sound as if you are making a good recovery and being nice and busy! Lots gong on on the desk. I think it's great that the posties are still carrying on so valiantly and we are still able to get all our essential (!) stash to service our addictions lol!! Crafters don't make their lives any easier, do we. Thank you for your visit, and I'm really sorry but you CAN'T have our sundial haha!! My hubby has said the old hole for the whirlygig washing line will be all rusty so he suggests making a new one. I ordered a new whirlygig today and it has a spike to go in the ground, so we can put it where we want. So the sundial will be staying PUT. Lol! Glad you like it, anyway. We bought it a few years ago at a National Trust place - I couldn't resist it! My hubby made the base out of a broken concrete urn and an upturned terracotta planter which he covered with concrete. He's pretty good at that sort of thing! Glad you liked my cards. Making envelope liners is an extra step and a bit of a faff, but I think it lifts a card to the next level and makes it special.

    Happy WOYWW,
